RE: Upgrading to Shamrock 23SS - Need storage ideas
Mark,
I like the idea of the truck tool box on the back of your Roo but i do have one question for you what did you do with the spare tire.

Adding 2nd Battery
I want to add a second 12 volt battery to my 2008 roo 23ss. What's the best way to do this? I was thinking of adding the second battery in series and installing a master switch. By doing this will my TV be able to charge both of these batteries or do I need to do something different to keep these charged up.
Thanks
RE: Fort widerness sites.
Here is a web site for the die hard Fort Wilderness campers lots of info. We stayed in Loop 900 over the memorial day holiday.

Voyager Brake Control
My dealer installed a voyager brake controller in to my 2002 Silverado to tow my 2008 23SS Roo. My problem is I’m having one heck of a time in getting the brake controller adjusted so when I start braking the truck it doesn't lock up the trailer tires. I've watched and watched the video that came with it and I just can't get them set.
Any help would greatly appreciated as were getting ready to head out of town and the DW doesn’t feel comfortable riding in the truck while pulling the trailer.
Am I better off to pull out the voyager and install a different brake controller that sets-up easier or keep trying to get the voyager set.
Again thanks for all the help.
First trip out with the new Roo
Well the DW and I finally took the new Roo (23ss) out for it's maiden voyage. Knock on wood only had one problem and that was the tap lines that go to the kitchen sink were loose so that was an easy fix by bring the slide all the way back in and giving them a little twist to tighten them up.
:h One question I do have is how do people access the drain plug that comes out of the on board water tank with out getting the screwdriver out every time I need to pull the drain plug.
Thanks
Dewinterizing
While going thru our walk thru of our HTT I asked our salesman what do I do with the anti-freeze. As a funny I said I'll just dump it down the street drain and then he told me that it was ok to do that. So how do I really get rid of it?
